So, I've already failed to showcase my hideous new "artwork" before, but I thought it would be nice to check in once in a million years, and give a quick update.

As already stated I tried to upload a few traditional abominations I've made while mum was back home (I have to give back her TV to her that I use as the monitor ). I have recently purchased watercolour pencils so I was trolling around with that, but don't worry nothing worth mentioning came out of that (aside from the fact that they were disgustingly expensive for a set of pencils).

So, basically I failed to upload them because I only snapped a pic of a few that were kinda-sorta-maybe not a 100% cringe fuel to share, but my phone took pictures in some enormous sizes and the file uploader on here basically freaked out and told me I don't have the space for that big of a file dump. 

For the most part, however, I've been F I N A L L Y  taking practicing  anatomy ((((HANDS)))) seriously, so all I really have right now are a bunch of sketches both digitally and traditionally 

(an abandoned Sev project. I'd guess his hand cramped the hell ip. No wonder he looks so bemused)

Now I make sure to work in a few extra hours during work too. So, this very latest lame sketch is really just a testament of how these few last weeks have passed: it's a Sev at first glance, but really it's just a lousy excuse to get in yet another hand drawing and some head anatomy practice. Yes, they both suck, but hey: this is still ten times better than what I could do so far! All I do lately is disembodied hands. Unfortunately this Sev isn't much luckier than the one above him - he somehow grew a lump under his thumb... 

On his right those are just little notes to myself about what I was trying to go for - I would like to really stop working with all the "happy little accidents", and have a plan what I want to put on paper/screen. So far I've drawn with only a vague idea and if I accidentally got something right I would incorporate it into the final piece, but I realise I need to be able to draw in a more focused mannber with clear goals.

So, work just got pretty crazy, my coworker simply refuses to work so I have to do everything...? All in all, there was some minor hiatus in terms of creating stuff, but I did make some progress here and there ~

This atrocity, for example, is in the making (ignore my comments to myself on the left):

One of his hands are noticably more yellow than the other, crazy coloured hair as always, and what's wrong with his right hand anyways, is it cramping up? So, to sum it up, a perfect representative artwork from yours truly, and it's not even halfway done! 

So, wasting my youth away by standing in Port Cobh, I was wondering what this new, lame event was all about.

Not amused not one bit

From the looks of it a new, unchallanged source of Fine Leathers and such, so when I suddenly realized what those random NPCs near the lighthouse are giving my initial reaction was:

Yea, scrubs are happy for training seals en masse, and I am an unapologetic scrub, so.

Also, I revamped an older Sirius sketch to let it evolve into a Snape.

You know guys, I was about to be very offended by this video (not only does it just bash a character - Snape - it does while glorifying two others - Sirius & James - which are made to appear in a really bad light by this), but by the 0:30 mark it’s clear that these two women are completely retarded (like, seriously, there-is-no-turning-back level of idiocy) who won’t even attempt substantial discourse, not to mention the third when she just hops in.

This video is the parody of the highly intellectual and quality rich fandom the Potterverse once was. I am bloody serious right now.

Their level of shallowness is disgusting enough, not to mention when the third lady comes in and starts to fantasize about revenge in the most repulsive ways. I’ve got no idea how BuzzFeed decided to give this the green flag and allowed it to be published under their name, this is just a rant from three people who could very well be the five year old cousin of anyone, and the effort of unbiased opinion making is shockingly less than of a personal youtube upload.

How were these three women cast into these positions? Clearly an average level of reasoning skills were not among the requirements. They can’t make valid points, they disregard the canonical reference completely all in the favour of mindless, completely brute hating - I guess that’s why this doesn’t even make it as a fanon, just “heart-canon”. You know, heart, because a brain was not required to make this. I don’t know.

I guess now that racism, sexism and homophobia are finally looked down upon and called out people like these three had to find a new area they can spread hate without actual reason just for the thrill of it. Because this is just that: a lame hate video. It upsets me to no end people like these found their way into the Harry Potter fandom. We are not a bit different than Twilight fans by this point - this is a disgrace. If the point of putting out content such as this is to humiliate the fandom, it is definitely succeeding.

They could have just shouted “kill Snape i wanna have sex with Sirius or James or both and wait Lily too!!!!!!111111one” for ten minutes on loop, the same intellectual content could have been extracted from this three minutes of Harry Potter fandom-shame.

It is difficult enough within the fandom: when it comes to discussing Severus, James or Sirius these three men will always be - rather obviously - brought up within the context of each others’ lives as their impact on each other were tremendous. That, however, for people like these in the video outright means some kind of a kindergarten style “red team vs. blue team” mentality, and the debate within the fandom (although there is no debate in this video) becomes childish, unappreciative of the characters themselves reducing them to 3-4 words each and lacking depth. Just like the people in this video, certain parts of the fandom loves to cherry-pick details without considering context to make points.

They don’t care for the question, they are not passionate about the subject itself, they just want to be on the winning team in a debate whatever that entails; but since they lack the intellectual grounding to achieve so, making a rant that uses absolutely nothing a decent argument would (references, reasons, context, analysing, sharing ideas, comparing scenarios, etc etc etc) trash talk is the closest they can get. Pitiful.

I also find it hilarious, that one of them is wearing a shirt with a feminist positive slogan, yet fantasizes about James, who just so happened to drop the only misogynist line in the course of seven books. Seriously, to a feminist to an other: slow clap, you have officially made a fool out of yourself.

Oh, and if I already brought feminism up, you might want to tone your over-sexualization of male characters down a tad, this video is almost completely devoted to your verbal masturbation over two men who never appeared in a sexual context before you in the canon, their degrading into a sex object is your personal invention for the purpose of this foul video only. In this video, we have yet to hear a sentence in which any of those male characters are somehow not mentioned within a sexual context or in relation to their sex. Feminism goes both ways, hypocrites… Don’t preach a political point of view if you understand nothing of it.

However, I do admit, they are the victims of their own lack of wit: somewhere halfway into this disgrace they all agree on the notion that the Potterverse should have never get the chance to know Snape was a hero who sacrificed his life to do good, so everyone would hate him. As in the character should be used as in originally (devote a life for a single cause and suffer all the way along) then thrown away like used, now useless bag of garbage without even getting the recognition for his heroism.

You know, because even these idiots realize a hero is a hero and without them  the wizarding world would have been crushed flat, full stop.

Whether you find them sexually attractive or not, all of those three men gave in everything they had for the good cause, and there is no amount of videos you can pollute the fandom with that can take that away from them. In the same fashion, you may sexualize (and in doing so, degrade) James and Sirius to whatever extend you please, they will never be anything less than heroes of their story.

Could we, by the way, take a moment to recognize none of those three men would ever touch any of these ladies, ever? It just kept bugging me while they were describing how they would marry this or have sex with that - those characters, would they be real, would hardly bear to even look at you. Shallowness and low intelligence was never a fad in the Potter books, and that’s clearly all you’ve got to offer, sorry.

Also, as a huge Marauder fan, would you PLEASE stop dragging the Marauders into your rabid anti-Snape rants? The Marauders, not unlike Snape, were bad boys enough on their own right no need to associate them with brainless idiots trash talking one of the biggest heroes of their world, that was - like it or not, would bang him or not - Severus Snape. Thanks.
